Functionality Terms and Conditions

  1. AGREEMENT - This Agreements is concluded between Hotel Continental Beograd, hereinafter as “The Hotel” and “The Client”. In case the Agreement is signed on behalf of a company, partnership agency, firm, club or a similar association, the person signing this Agreement shall inform the Hotel of his authorization to sign the Agreement. In case the signatory is not authorized to sign the Agreement, he will have personal responsibility for doing so.
  2. CONFIRMATION – The Confirmation Agreement has to be signed and returned in seven days’ term upon receipt of the confirmation. Deposit of minimum 80 % of the estimated value of the function or of the rented room rate should be paid. The Hotel management retains the right to cancel the reservation and rent the reservation to another client, in case the deposit is not paid.
  3. CANCELLATION – All cancellations must be given minimum 6 (six)weeks before the agreed term of arrangement thus to avoid payment of compensation for it. The cancellation made in the period between 6 weeks and 10 days before the term of the function shall have for its result the loss of the given deposit which will be retained by the Hotel. Cancellations made in the period between 10 days and 72 hours before the term of the function shall have for its result charging of the room rate. In case the cancellation is made in the period which is less than 72 hours it will have for its result charging of the room rate and the full costs of board.
  4. GUARANTEED NUMBERS – The Hotel has to be informed minimum 10 days in advance about all requirements, and the board arrangements, given time table, audio-visual set up, an about approximate number of the guests. The minimum guaranteed number of guests to visit the function shall be given to the Hotel latest 3 (three) days before the function. The Hotel retains the right to charge the client for the guaranteed number of the visitors of the function although the services were rendered to a minor number of visitors. In case the function is visited by a greater number of visitors, the client will be charged for the exact number of visitors of the function while the costs of food and beverage will be charged as per total number of visitors.
  5. INSURANCE – The Hotel undertakes all necessary care about everything, but does not accept the responsibility for any loss or damage of the goods or other property of the Hotel, before, during and after the function. It is recommended to the Client to arrange his own insurance coverage.
  6. SAFETY – The Hotel retains the right not to admit or to reject all indecent persons to any kind of function in the Hotel or hotel premises without any obligations upon the Hotel. If the hotel, by any reason, considers that a certain function will affect regular operation of the Hotel, its safety or reputation the Hotel retains the right to cancel the function without any responsibility. Also, the Hotel retains the right to cancel any banquet, meeting, conference or function with a political connotation of any kind without any obligation upon the Hotel.
  7. AVAILABILITY OF THE HOTEL ACCOMMODATION – In case the hotel accommodation for which the reservations were made is not available, the Hotel undertakes the responsibility to provide the Client with the following services (free of charge) :
    • To return the deposit to the full amount of the function. The Hotel shall deliver the bill of the performed credit transaction (confirmation on return of the funds) to the credit card owner;
    • Accommodation in a similar hotel, and the number of night stays as indicated by the reservation (not over 14 night stays) unless the accommodation is available in the Hotel,
    • If required by the client, the Hotel shall allow him two 3-minute phone conversations and delivery of his mail to the address of the alternative accommodation.
    • The Hotel shall organize transport to the alternative accommodation and return to the Hotel. If required by the guest, the Hotel shall provide daily transport to and from the Hotel.
  8. FOOD & BEVERAGE A client, guest, invited person(s) or the person witnessing a function is not allowed to take the food into the Hotel or for consumption at the function, unless otherwise agreed with the Hotel or the Hotel gave its permission for it.
  9. EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT – Execution of the Agreement is strictly depending on the capability of the Hotel to fulfill the terms of the Agreement, and is subject to limiting causes that are beyond control of the Hotel. In no case, the Hotel shall be responsible for the loss of profits or a similar or any other collateral or consequential damage, that is based on breach of the agreed terms, guarantees on any other way. In no case the Hotel shall be responsible to provide the quantities of food and beverages that are not formerly agreed.
  10. PRICES – The Hotel shall give its best to maintain the given rates, but the rates are subject to amendment, followed by the information, and represent a discretion right of the Hotel, to follow price variations of the Market.
  11. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS – Extra rates will be calculated for the services rendered during public holidays.
  12. ALL RATES - All rates understand that 18% is included for WAT.
  13. PAYMENT CONDITIONS – At the very moment the reservation is confirmed it is necessary to pay min. a 20% deposit of the estimated value of the function. The Hotel retains the right to require payment of an extra deposit of the function. The balance of 80% should be paid 3 (three) working days before the function at the Hotel account. In case of formerly agreed credit arrangement (made min. 14 days before the function), the payment should be effected 7(seven) days upon receipt of the invoice. Payment is effected in dinars (RSD), converted using the middle exchange rate of National Bank of Serbia on the day of the function.
